Program of the Week - HijackThis! and reminder

Despite all the precautious you take and all the software you download, some malware may find its way through your defenses and onto your computer. If your computer is acting up and you don't know why, HijackThis! is the program for you. HijackThis will provide a print out of the programs and processes running on your computer so that you can see what is going on. Many times fixes will require removing unwanted programs from your registry - unless you really know what you are doing, leave the registry alone and provide a copy of the Hijack This report to a good computer techie for advice on how to bring your computer back to normal.
